About Mark Mosher – Electronic Musician, Boulder CO

Markmosher-bannerI am an electronic musician, sound designer,  composer and performer from Boulder, CO. I have deep expertise and experience in synthesis, doing production and show control with Ableton Live and Resolume.

My shows typically fuse the worlds of sound & light Synthesis,  composition, and experimental Improvisation to create cinematic music experiences. I also perform improvisational musique concrète works centered around the Electron Octatrack dynamic performance sampler and the Nord Lead 4.

I have released 3 scifi inspired albums1 horror soundscape album, singles, remixes, and has a soundscape podcast called Sonic Encounters.

My main instrumentalities include keyboards; AudioCube infrared gestural controllers; grid controllers such as Ableton Push and Tenori-in. My “goto” synthesizers include Elektron Octatrack, Native Instruments Absynth;  Nord Lead 4; Waldorf Blofeld; U-He Bazille, Hive, Zebra, ACE; Tone2 ElectraX; and Ableton Sampler and Operator.

Select venues where I’ve had the privilege to perform include Gates Concert Hall at the University of Denver, The Dairy Center for the Performing Arts, Electro-Music Festival NY, Electro-Music Festival in Asheville NC, Pacific Northwest Synthfest, Art Institute of Sunnyvale, Georgia Tech, Midwest Electro-Music Experience, The Microsoft Store, the grand opening of the University of Denver’s Performance Black Box and more.
